September 28 two citiesEverybody's waiting for National Holiday - in China it's on October 1st, for most of people it'll be 7 days long. Cool. I'm going to my favourite city, the city that never gets me bored, the city that always fascinates me - Hong Kong!
In China there are two cities that make my heart beat faster. One of them is where I live, lovely Hangzhou with relaxing atmosphere, the second is Hong Kong - that never sleeps. It will be enjoyable to visit it again. September 27 me and...Me. Me in Xiaoshan, on the top of the building. Me and Carl. Me and Kevin.
No time for writing, I'm going swimming. September 19 continueThe weather is bad, the typhoon is surrounding Hangzhou. Today the schools have been closed, but not mine. My language centre operates as usual. And it's good, because at least I have something to do. I'm getting better at swimming! Wow, finally. I swim 2-3 times a week, and I really miss it. Wonderful feeling to go down under the water holding the breath... And it's all thanks to Mike, my student. He's my coach, very effective and very patient. He always says: "You need more practice, continue!” Yeah.. practice makes perfect. That's the advertising slogan of WEB; it can also be a slogan for me. Except "never fade away!"
Hitlist #341 8. 15 (2) ATHLETE, Hurricane September 14 acceptableHow can I put this... Days go by fast and soon there'll be a Chinese national holiday. I'm going to Hong Kong, maybe also to Macau, maybe also to... anywhere, as I am free man, aren't I? I like travelling, that makes me feel that the world is mine. And soon after holiday, I will go home. Actually it'll be in December but as I said, the time flies incredibly fast.
There was a Teacher's Day on Sunday. We had a special dinner organized by the school where I teach. Nice event, everybody got flowers and a small gift. I guess teacher's Day is more noticable here than in Poland. I like it although I'd like those spacial events were more spontanious.
On Monday I went to Yeqing, met Angus, Victor, Rose and Zhou Shi. It was great, although just for business. You can enjoy friendships also while doing business! I came back to Hangzhou on Tuesday afternoon, so tired but happy. And since Wednesday I've been teaching again. I have a double life, hehe. Double face. Double personality. Wow, that sounds scary!
One of my colleagues told me that in my classes there are the most students. Ummm... how can I express my feelings - I was just extremely happy. Really. That gave me so much confidence and energy for future that I even didn't feel I was so tired. Because actually it doesn't matter when it is acceptable what you are devoted to.
Aaa... I swim quite regularly - two or three times a week. I started to be devoted to it, too. It's so enjoyable!
