July 17 interactionsYesterday I was swimming. I went to the swimming pool with my student Mike. So nice. The water was gorgeous. Only my swimming skills could be improved. Anyway, I enjoy it very much! Later in the evening I had just one class - only English corner. The topic was "Feeling sorry"... In the beginning I thought it was just a usual topic - as many others - but it turned out to be something really good! I got some feedbacks later that students liked to speak out about it. During the class it started to rain, there was a thunder. Oh, nice, I forgot to take an umbrella! What could I do? I couldn't take a taxi or a bus, because I came there by bicycle. So I stood in front of the main door and waited for the rain to stop. It didn't. Suddenly a great idea came to my mind. Buy a raincoat!! That was it! Just needed to find a shop nearby. With a little help from a student Clark I bought it and could go back home! Brilliant idea. So smart. I was proud of myself! Today I went to the cinema. The current hit is "Transformers". And... I was disappointed. A typical American movie. Pfff.. nothing special to me. I guess I don't enjoy watching fantasy movies. Later I worked for my company from Poland. Ooh, that was tough. I'm exhausted. And getting angry for everything. Not a good day for me. If I could, I would shout for the people I co-operate with. And everything is about money. Money rules the world. And later only one class - this time about ghosts. Oh, so exciting! And I found that students were very interested in that topic. I experienced that fantastic interaction between teacher and them... July 14 motto for coming weeksThough I am busy (as everybody knows, I am working from morning till evening...), I decided to do something more. I started going to the gym and doing some exercises! Wow, wow, who would think that looking at me? I am so thin, too thin. I want to feel healthier and a little bit more stronger. That's a nice activity, isnt't it?
Next week I'm also going to swim! The summer is so hot and so far I haven't been to the swimming pool this year. It's time to do it. I already forgot how much I like swimming.
Be sporty.

And so many things happened! First thing - visit in Oliver's factory. It's not in Hangzhou, it is in Lin'an (临安), the countryside. Nice place, very quiet and pretty. I went there because of the online advertisement for Alibaba (阿里巴巴) - a business directory. It was so funny to wear the uniforms from Oliver's factory and to act as a foreign employee... The advertisement hasn't been published yet. Please be patient. Second thing - my Polish friend Anna had a birthday on Saturday and she organized a party. Nice meeting, I met some new people, people from Poland, too! I almost forgot that I like parties so much. People shouldn't be too busy to forget about enjoying free time... Third thing - my student Frank invited me for a trip to Xitang (西塘) - an old city near Hangzhou. The streets are so narrow there! Actually I would never call them streets. Not even sidewalks! The city is lovely! I bought a special Chinese hat, when I wear it, I look like an ancient emperor's son! I also bought an old poster with Chinese actress - from 40s. or 50s.!! - unfortunately I don't remember her name. She's a beautiful woman. And what's next? Work, work, work. I love it. bamboo sheetIt's so hot that I'm getting crazy. In the evening, when I'm usually tired, everything makes me angry or iritated. I still can feel the long flight I took this week, maybe that's the reason of my evening low moods.
It's hot so I don't use the quilt anymore. I sleep on the bamboo sheet which is much cooler. And unfortunately harder than the quilt. Today in the morning my skin looked like somebody has beaten me: red here and there. God, I should have put some blanket on the sheet. I'll do it this night.
Oliver asked me today to take part in an advertisement of his company. Wow! I'm so excited about it. It will be an Internet advertisement, so as soon it is published, I will put the link here. Maybe acting is another thing I should try in my life? Very interesting idea.
I want to take as much as possible from life. Never hesitate, you never know what you can encounter. |
