April 28 feather in the storm Just read.... Feather In The Storm: A Childhood Lost in Chaos by Emily Wu (巫一毛) and Larry Engelmann. It's a story of growing up in China in a "black" (rightist) family during the Great Leap Forward and the Cultural Revolution. Very interesting book, shocking and forcing to think back to those dark times. Modern history of China is so sad. Black families, red families. Hatred. Evil. 牛鬼蛇神 meaning "monsters and demons" - used to describe people accused for counter-revolutionary... Madness and political fanaticism.  And here I am in the old city of Gdańsk. It's located in the north of Poland, at the sea-side.
 Going to Gdańs was one of the highlights of my staying in Poland. Such a nice city!
 Have I ever told you how much I like flowers? Yes.. many times.
