I believe they are also known here, although maybe not as much as they would like to... Their sound is great! I'd even say it's "pure pop", only if it wasn't so rock! Just listen to "Pacemaker" - non-single track from their last album "21st Century Breakdown". I'm sure you'll feel the vibe! Rebelious and rocking, hit and tempting, addictive and happy!
Let "Peacemaker" take away the winter depression. The spring is coming and all I can say is: Green Day, thank you and you're very welcome.

He's been known as a member of Sigur Rós, a band playing majestic and inspiring music; and now he's trying to push his solo career. What's the result? It's great, it's fresh, it's still Jónsi, it's happy! It makes me think of spring. I can dream... Just "say no more, use your eyes". I do get inspired by him.

There's much snow and very cold. Last night's temperatures were lower than -20 degrees! I don't like winter, but the photos look wonderful.

Today was diametrically different: beautiful sunshine and clear skies, although still a bit chilly. While yesterday was the good day to stay at home, today I decided to take a walk. I like walking, even aimlessly, just for the fact of moving legs.
Hangzhou has many nice places worth visiting from time to time. Baoshi Hill is a good example; although I've been there many times, I always enjoy it. I went there with Tim (who sometimes leaves comments here! and who has just completed his graduating exam - congratulations!).
I usually take my camera, just in case I see some beautiful view. I want to catch it and keep it in my memory.

 I didn't know the name of these trees. Tim told me that they were called "phoenix trees" (in Chinese "梧桐树"). Hmmm... another word to learn. We learn all the time!
